You can use Meridian tapping to work through one or two sticky issues, or for regular long-term work. Many people come for three or four sessions to solve a problem, and return as needed when a new issue arises. Savvy psychotherapists refer clients for a few sessions to clear a specific trauma or limiting belief that is impeding progress. To use this method of clearing energetic blocks to affect long-term emotional issues or assist the body to deal with chronic illness or physical symptoms, you will want regular sessions, and to learn and use the techniques on yourself in between sessions. This is not difficult, but does require commitment and consistency. However, sometimes even chronic problems can be alleviated faster than one would expect.
In the first session, we will determine what issues you want to focus on, and how you will know - by changes in thoughts, feelings, or behavior - when they have been resolved. You will learn the EFT short-cut procedure so you can use it yourself at home in order to move faster and reinforce changes.
If you have difficult emotional issues you are ready to resolve, know that Meridian Tapping is a very gentle therapeutic modality, and you never need to revisit a difficult experience until your level of emotion has been reduced and you feel ready. You never need to reveal details that you would rather keep private. It is perfectly possible to resolve an issue of which only you know the content by referring to it with a code label. All session content and your status as a client are kept completely confidential.
